About
CollegeGuru is an online educational institution that guides Nepalese high school students and graduates to get into US universities for a Bachelor’s degree, aiming for partial to full scholarships. The program runs for six months from the month of June to January, and provides students with a complete package for US college application. This package includes SAT class, College Essay Writing, Duolingo Classes, Talks, Workshops, and Extra-curricular development. CollegeGuru is currently run by students and graduates from several universities in the US including MIT and UC Berkeley.

Eligibility
Anyone who has completed Grade 11, and hasn't enrolled in a Bachelor’s program.
Students are required to commit at least 15 hours per week to the program.
Yes, if you're not enrolled in a university yet, you are eligible to apply again.
OVERVIEW
No! There are different fees for different packages. But we provide partial to fully funded scholarships to very limited students.
The program will be conducted virtually, with all communication taking place through video calls.

Surya Tripathi
OrganizerSurya is a researcher pursuing a Ph.D. at UC Berkeley in Microbiology and aspires to run a biotech company someday. He has several publications in high-impact journals such as Nature and Cell. He grew up in Hemja in Pokhara and has completed several educational and hygiene-related projects in Nepal, including founding Incubate Nepal, a non-profit. In his free time, Surya loves to host dinners, play soccer, and explore nature.
Sujal Gautam
OrganizerSujal is an undergraduate second-year student at UC Berkeley. He majors in Music and Data Science and aspires to become a professional musician. While in Nepal he worked as an incident reporter for UNDP Nepal, as an IELTS/TOFEL tutor, and was a physics tutor for +2 students alongside working on other projects. In his free time, Sujal loves to shut the door and play music and go to Surya’s dinners.
